1.Brief Introduction
This project is a Sino-foreign cooperative educational program for postgraduates established by Communication University of China and Nottingham Trent University (NTU). It was approved by China’s Ministry of Education in 2015 with Certificate No.MOE11USA02DNR20141596N.
本专业基于中国传媒大学与英国诺丁汉特伦特大学重视理论与国际实践结合的教学优势,依据人文社会科学的专业研究方法,对信息的跨国流动进行整体性研究,培养能适应国际传播新特点,熟练运用外语,熟悉国际规则并深入了解国情的外向复合型国际传播人才。
This project’s advantages combine the resources of the Communication University of China and NTU, media methodology and global practice. Based on the research methods of humanities and society sciences, the solutions focus on international flow and communication of information. This program aims to cultivate multi-talented individuals with a global communication competency, who have a strong command of English language and be familiar with global communication rules.
本专业要求学生从政治、历史、经济、社会、文化等不同层面了解和掌握国际传播的历史进程、行为主体、基本特征及其社会效应,能从传播主体、内容、渠道、受众和效果等多个维度阐释国际传播现象。重点培养学生在传播学、文化研究、国际关系学等领域的跨学科研究能力,从而开阔学生国际视野,提高专业技能,为帮助学生进入媒体公司、文创企业或从事学术研究做准备。
This requires students to master the related subjects on politics, history, economics, society, and culture, which are reflected by such factors as their behavior, characteristics and social relations. The students are also trained to explain the phenomenon by the theories of media, communication, channels, audience and effects, etc. The course focuses on students' interdisciplinary research on journalism, cultural studies, and International relations, etc. The project provides students' international knowledge, improves professional skills, and assists them to work in media companies, cultural enterprises or engage in academic research.

This project’s advantages combine the resources of the Communication University of China and NTU, media methodology and global practice. This project engages in training the talents with advanced international communication skills, understanding international communication rules, mastering the techniques for radio, TV andmultimedia production, and innovative and group work ethics.
本专业以国际广播电视的产业模式、发展规律、社会效果等为研究对象,通过专业学习,强化学生对国际广播电视传播整体格局、节目样态、制作流程的认识,培养在国际广播电视及新媒体领域进行理论研究和实践的专业能力。
International radio & TV industry module studies, developments, and social effects are all taught. Through professional training, students are equipped to have the ability of framework design of media, program production, understanding program’s production processes, theoretical and practical field knowledge.
